Justice League - movie review

The long awaited superhero team up is finally here for the very first time on the big screen.  Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman, they are all here!  Is this action-packed extravaganza worth the ticket price?  Well, both yes and no.  The positives are that the action sequences are fantastic!  They are very well shot, they look cool, and the characters are really what make them fun!  This movie also has a nicely written script with some really good humor.  This so far is the lightest movie in the DC Extended Universe in tone.  It's light hearted and humorous.  Batman, Wonder Woman and The Flash are by far the best parts of the movie, they kick the most ass in the action scenes, and they have the best humor.  With all the positives out of the way, now we have to point out the negatives.  First of all, the CGI in this movie for the most part is really weak, sometimes Baywatch levels of weak.  Cyborg is very poorly executed in the movie, not only is the CGI on him pretty terrible, but he has some of the worst humor and lines in the movie.  For example, he says "Boo-yeah" in this movie.  I wish I was joking, but I'm not.  Steppenwolf is actually worse than most MCU villains.  He is so bland, so forgettable, and just there to be the bad guy, it's actually really pathetic.  The film also feels very rushed at 121 minutes.  I heard the original cut was 170 minutes, and I wish it could have stayed at that.  This movie would have been so epic at 170 minutes, but thanks to Warner Bros. and their awfully stupid decision making, that never happened.  Hopefully the Blu-ray comes with the original cut.  Make it happen!  So in the end, Justice League is just an okay film, it's nowhere near the epic, badass movie I was hoping for, but for what it does, it gets the job done.

Top 10 Best movies of 2016

Image result for 2016
Here is my personal list of the my favorite movies of 2016.  The films that I found to be absolutely amazing and the movies that I will definitely be watching in the future!

#10:  The Magnificent Seven
Image result for the magnificent seven poster
The Magnificent Seven was one of the most refreshing action movies I have seen in all of 2016.  The action was fucking amazing and also pretty brutal for a PG-13 movie.  The performances was also fantastic, Chris Pratt and Denzel Washington being the standouts.  If you want to see a shoot em' up action film that is fun and well written, give it a watch!

#9:  Zootopia
Image result for zootopia poster
Zootopia is my in my opinion, the best Disney animation to come out in many, many years!  I loved every minute of this movie, it was smart, clever and surprisingly hilarious!  This is one of the best kids movies you could have ever watched through 2016 and it's definitely my favorite kids movie of 2016.

#8:  Hacksaw Ridge
Image result for hacksaw ridge poster
This movie was a gut punch!  I genuinely mean it!  Mel Gibson's Hacksaw Ridge is a brutal, gory, violent, and fucking masterful film!  Andrew Garfield gives a performance that is so great, that it just may be his best performance in his entire career!  This is not for the squeamish though, so if you don't like extreme gore and violence, don't watch Hacksaw Ridge, but for the rest, see it, it's awesome!

#7: The Conjuring 2
Image result for the conjuring 2 poster
The Conjuring 2 is not only my favorite horror film of 2016, it is even better than the first one, and I never thought James Wan could top the first film, but he did, and it's a masterwork in horror!  It was intense, suspenseful, everything I want in a horror film!

#6:  Star Trek Beyond
Image result for star trek beyond poster
Star Trek Beyond continues on being awesome with the already epic reboot Star Trek films!  Not only is the action just as amazing here as in the previous 2 films, but this movie also takes you back to how the original Star Trek series was!  When you can mix the intriguing stuff from the original Star Trek series with the action-packed epicness of the new Star Trek films, you get a pretty sweet movie, and Star Trek Beyond is definitely that!

#5:  The Nice Guys
Image result for the nice guys poster
Now we get to what I think is the most underrated film of 2016!  The Nice Guys is one of the best blends of action and comedy that I have seen in a long time, probably since The Other Guys!  The Nice Guys was a witty, hilarious movie with superb performances and if you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor, you have no idea what you're missing!

#4:  Doctor Strange
Image result for doctor strange poster
Doctor Strange is one of the most unique films that I have ever seen in the MCU!  It's magical, action-packed, exciting and quite funny too!  I loved Stephen Strange's Tony Stark like personality, it really lightened up this otherwise pretty dark film, it added a lot of really good humor!  Doctor Strange is definitely not a movie to skip!

#3:  Sausage Party
Image result for sausage party poster
If I could think of an animated film that is a lot smarter than it sounded, I never thought Sausage Party would be one of them!  Sausage Party has a lot of brains to it, and a lot of delightfully raunchy laughs!  Sausage Party is as naughty as you think it is, and I loved every minute of it!  It's not for the kids though!  It is my favorite animated film of 2016.

#2:  Captain America: Civil War
Image result for captain america civil war poster
Captain America: Civil War is not only a great summer action flick, it is also a very great story about friendship and vengeance, and how if those things go together, things will go very wrong!  All the characters were handled well, especially Spider-Man!  The action was exciting and expertly done, and the story always held my interest, there was never a dull moment in this really kick-ass movie!  Captain America: Civil War is the silver medal winner of 2016, and it definitely would have won gold if another movie had not come out in 2016!

#1:  Deadpool
Image result for Deadpool poster
So, what movie exactly did bring down Civil War to the #2 spot you may ask, well I will tell you, it's to another comic book movie, and that is muthafuckin' Deadpool!  Deadpool is one of the funniest, and well written superhero movies I have ever seen!  Deadpool never held back with anything, and man did it pay off!  This movie came out back in February 2016 and not one movie has managed to top it!  Civil War was the closest to it, but when I think of the movie that had me engaged the most, had the most fun with, and had me excited and laughing the most, Deadpool is definitely that movie!

So that was my list, hope you enjoyed it, and I will be writing my other extremely late list fairly, and I promise not to be super late with my 2017 lists! lol

The Amazing Spider-Man - movie review

Image result for the amazing spider-man poster
I am in the mood to talk about a bad movie right now, so I am going to review The Amazing Spider-Man, the worst Spider-Man movie ever made! Yes, it's worse than Spider-Man 3! And guess what people, get pissed off, I enjoyed Spider-Man 3, it's not a great film, but it was a very enjoyable film! Even though I do think of this movie as a bad, disappointing film, there are 3 things that I liked about it. First of all, the chemistry between Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy was not that bad at all, when there was action in this movie, the action was really good (for the most part), and when Andrew Garfield was being Spider-Man, he was okay! Now for the meat of this review, the negatives! Okay, so remember when I said Andrew Garfield was okay as Spider-Man? He was, he was likable as Spider-Man, but when he is just being Peter Parker, oh boy, he was fucking awful! He is a douchebag, there was never a scene in the entire movie that gives us a reason to like Peter Parker, he is also a stalker, and he also acts like he has a hangover in almost every scene he is in. Now I said the action is really good, but I also said for the most part. There is almost no action in the first 94 minutes of this movie and the first couple action moments (that's right, MOMENTS! It takes 94 fucking minutes to get to the first real action sequence in this movie!) were dull and flat! This is not a colorful movie, this is a really colorless movie, and for a character as colorful as Spider-Man, that's pretty sad. Now remember how quippy Spider-Man is? Remember how Spider-Man likes to tell jokes? Not in this movie, despite how likable Spider-Man was, there was only 1 scene in this entire movie that had him telling jokes! 1....fucking....scene! Let's talk about character development, what character development? I love Emma Stone, but what the hell, she is given nothing to work with here, her character is not developed whatsoever. Lizard in this movie is by far one of the worst developed villains in ANY of the Spider-Man movies! He has absolutely zero motivations for him being a bad guy, and his plan is one of the most hilariously idiotic plans I have ever witnessed in a superhero movie! Another problem I had with this movie was Spider-Man's suit! It looked like shit! And I have heard people argue that he was poor, how could he afford a really nice suit? Well if he was so poor, how could he afford material for his webs that is so strong that it could damage property with ease and also hold up vehicles that are falling off a bridge without it ever ripping? I think if he can afford that shit, he can easily afford a much better suit! Now for the ending, so in the comics, Gwen Stacy's dad wanted Peter to protect Gwen, but in this movie, her father wants Peter to stay away from her, what the fuck? I am not one to say that changes from source material is a bad thing because good adaptations do change shit from the source material to make it their own thing, but this specifically was not a good change because one reason, it turned out to be pointless right at the closing scene, and another reason, there is a lot of cringy bullshit involving that shit in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
In the end, The Amazing Spider-Man was a terrible film, a lot of people seem to enjoy it for some reason, but for me personally, it comes close to being garbage, and the only reason I am not giving it an F is because of the very few redeeming qualities it has.

Alien - movie review

Image result for alien 1979 poster
So because Alien: Covenant just came out a few weeks ago, I think I should review every Alien movie!  So Alien is the first film in the long running franchise, it came out in 1979 and was directed by Ridley Scott.  The film tells the story of a space crew who are picked off one by one by an alien, but not just some ordinary alien, it's the iconic Xenomorph!  This is also the first film to feature Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley.  So many people regard this film one of the all time great science-fiction masterpieces, and do I agree with that?  Yes I do!  For me personally, this is my 2nd favorite film in the franchise.  This movie is filled with tension, suspense and wonderful, effective scares.  The acting is great, and also characters you care about!  The first half of the movie is where this movie really builds tension, and it is fucking fantastic!  Although it is very slow paced, it is well worth it in the end!  The Xenomorph itself is great!  Whoever did the effects on the alien did a fantastic job!  It's great to see a Xenomorph in practical effects instead of CGI.  The iconic chest bursting scene is my favorite scene in the movie, it's violent, intense, and gory, it's perfect!  The music score by Jerry Goldsmith is also great to listen to, it matches the film greatly!  Alien is a classic, there is no other way to put it!  It's one of Ridley Scott's finest films, right up there with The Martian, Black Hawk Down and Gladiator.

Baywatch - movie review

Image result for baywatch poster
So Baywatch is the latest film to be based on a TV show and the 3rd one this year!  First we got CHiPS, which was an awful piece of shit, and then we got Power Rangers, which was surprisingly a really solid film!  So going into Baywatch, I was thinking it could go one of two ways, the CHiPS way or the Power Rangers way.  To my surprise, this movie was really good!  Yes, this movie has a 19% on Rotten Tomatoes as of right now but who the fuck cares?  I found this movie to be a lot of fun!  It was also really, really funny!   This movie has some ridiculous action scenes that were hilarious to watch, for me personally, like 90% of the comedy REALLY works!  There is a running joke that I won't spoil, but it's really funny every time!  How I can describe this movie is this, dumb cheesy fun!  The only real complaint I have with this movie is the special effects.  The special effects in this movie for the most part are really bad!  For a movie with this much money behind it, they should have looked a lot better!  My personal favorite thing about this movie is the shit between Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, they are fucking hilarious together in this movie!  Beware though, there is a scene in a morgue that will be too much for some people.  Alexandra Daddario is also sexy as fuck in this movie!  Oh the shit I would do for a chance with her!  So in the end, Baywatch is a great summer movie!  It's the kind of movie where you just get some popcorn and laugh.  Baywatch clearly isn't going for any awards or anything, it's just trying to be a funny and really fun movie!  And they succeeded greatly!

Fantastic Four (2015) In-Depth review

So if you can tell from a smaller review I made for this movie, I really fucking hate this movie, a lot!  It is the worst superhero movie I have ever seen!  I know people think there is worse out there, (such as Batman & Robin, Steel, Catwoman, Superman IV, Elektra, etc.) and while those were bad movies, those movies actually had something in them that was somewhat entertaining!  Not this movie!  This movie has nothing at all that was entertaining to offer!  All this movie really has is boring dialogue between characters that take place in dark rooms!  This was an awful adaptation of the Fantastic Four, and even if the movie itself was good, it still would have still been an awful adaptation because the Fantastic Four is not supposed to be a dark, brooding story, it is supposed to be cheesy, humorous and fun!  The previous two films nailed that shit!  None of the actors (who happen to be good actors by the way) put in any energy in their performances, because the script is so bad, and so dull, that they didn't have anything to work with!  I heard rumors that the director was drunk off his ass while making this movie and also didn't show up to production half the time, and yes, when you watch the movie, you can see that!  There is only so much incompetence I can take when it comes to watching movies!  Wanna know something people?  The filmmaking is so lazy in this movie, that it kinda reminded me of the infamous film, "The Room".  Difference is, "The Room" was hilarious, and entertaining because of that, this movie was fucking boring and had no personality!  Let's talk about the visual effects here in this atrocity, yeah, very few of them actually look decent!  The only thing decent in terms of visual effects in this movie is when it has to do with The Thing.  There were a couple times where the CGI on The Thing was half way decent, other than that, the visuals were terrible!  The final act is where the visuals really got bad!  When the team fights the villain, there is not only really terrible CGI, but the green screen was horrendously noticeable!  And when I saw this turd in theaters, I saw it in 3D, and the 3D made the effects look even worse!  I just watched this piece of fantastic shit on Netflix to do this in-depth review, and while the effects still looked like garbage, the 3D did make it worse!  Let's talk about the action sequences, yes, there is only one in the entire movie!  And the action sequence was what made the movie even worse!  Because of the uninspired acting and the awful visuals!  You don't care about what is going on while the action is going on because the movie never gives you a reason to care throughout it's 100 minute run time!  That's one thing I have to mention, the movie is only 100 minutes long, just under 2 hours, but the movie feels like 4 hours!  This movie is so BORING!!!  Nothing ever happens!  The movie's pacing sucks!  There is no structure to it, there is no transition, no flow, this movie's editing is shit!  This movie, I swear to god, doesn't have a second act!  It only has a first and third act.  The first act is building a teleportation device and the third is getting their powers and also being jam packed with pointless shit!  Now let's talk about the team itself and the villain.  The team doesn't feel like the Fantastic Four.  They don't have any chemistry between them.  They are known as Marvel's first family, but they certainly don't feel like it!  All you feel through this movie is that of that they seem to hate each other.  Mr. Fantastic (the stretchy guy) and The Thing (the rock monster) are supposed to be best friends!  But, in this movie, The Thing is begging for the help of Mr. Fantastic, but Mr. Fantastic is a dick and just leaves him in the military base and stays gone for a year!  That's another thing, the time laps in this movie are fucking awful!  The villain is by far the worst part of this movie!  Doctor Doom (the villain for the very few of you who don't know), looks like a chrome mummy!  He looks like a Comic Con costume, not a professional movie villain!  His powers aren't right in this movie, and oh my god, his motive is bullshit, because he has no motive!  He has no reason for doing what he does at the end of the movie!  FUCK!!!  This movie is a fucking trainwreck disaster!  I wish Fox would give Fantastic Four back to Marvel, so we can finally get a good Fantastic Four movie.  Do yourself a favor and never watch this movie, it's pure garbage!  I thought there would never be a superhero movie more boring and more tedious than Ang Lee's Hulk movie, but I was wrong!  Fantastic Four takes the cake for worst superhero movie of all time!

Pros:
None

Cons:
Terrible pacing
Lack of excitement and action
Terrible action when it finally happens
Bad performances from good actors
Zero chemistry between characters
Atrocious visuals
Doctor Doom

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage - movie review (updated)

Image result for xxx return of xander cage poster
I don't care what critics say about this movie, this movie is a ton of fun from start to finish!  The action is exhilarating, despite how ridiculous it is!  Vin Diesel is very likable, as always!  Don't go to this movie expecting an OSCAR worthy film, because you are not going to get it here!  This movie was made simply to have it's audience laugh and have fun with some really nonsensical but incredibly fun action!  The 3D for me really worked for this movie too, surprisingly!   The acting was serviceable, the camera work was awesome, this movie is just a ton of fun!  What I am saying is check this movie out, especially if you liked the original!  Buy it on Blu-ray on May 16th if you can, I certainly will!

Kong: Skull Island - movie review

Image result for kong skull island poster
Kong: Skull Island is the latest film in the Monsterverse movies.  This movie stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman and John C. Reilly.  This film tells the story of a group of soldiers and scientists who go to a strange island called Skull Island, which is home of the gigantic Kong!  That's all you really need to know!  What I have to say is that don't go into this movie expecting something that is up there in quality with the 2005 or 1933 versions, if you do that, you will be pissed the fuck off!  Kong: Skull Island is a wonderful 2 hour explosion and carnage fest!  It is filled with fast paced action and beautiful visuals.  If is pure dumb fun!  The cinematography is fucking fantastic, the looks of Kong and the monsters are incredible, and the first time you see Kong in this movie, it is some of the most intense shit you will see this year!  While the characters are pretty 2-dimensional, they did work for what this movie was going for!  I have to gush on this movie's action sequences, they are just that fucking fantastic!  It's not Logan, but this comes pretty damn close in my opinion!  Kong: Skull Island is a must see for people who love big dumb action movies and people who love monster movies!  One thing I must mention is that if you don't like movies with gore, skip this movie!  There are some scenes in this movie that are pretty graphic when it comes to the violence and it will disturb the easily squeamish.

Showgirls (1995) review

Image result for showgirls 1995 poster
Showgirls is an interesting movie to talk about about.  It is a guilty pleasure for many but it is also considered to be one of the worst movies ever made!  And for me, it's a guilty pleasure!  I love watching this movie simply because it is better softcore porn than Fifty Shades of Grey and it is directed by Paul Verhoeven, who also directed RoboCop, Starship Troopers and Total Recall, 3 of my favourite action movies of all time!  This is also the only NC-17 rated film to be in theaters worldwide to my knowledge.  This movie is filled with glorious nudity, raunchy sex scenes, (there is a sex scene that takes place in a pool and holy fuck it is crazy, but hilarious!)  The dialogue in this movie is hilariously cheesy!  I absolutely love this movie!  If you are able to find a copy on Blu-ray, get it, it is some of the finest guilty pleasure entertainment out there!

Monster Trucks - review

Image result for monster trucks poster

Monster Trucks is a new kids movie co-produced by Nickelodeon! It's about a teenage boy who finds a monster and befriends it. The monster ends up becoming the engine of a truck and the boy must try to get the monster back to it's family. Yeah, not very original, but how is the movie in general? It was fun! I liked the characters, the action scenes in this movie were surprisingly really good and yeah, this was an all around good time! I thought the 3D went really well with this movie too! I have one thing to mention though, the two main characters, they are supposed to be teenagers! I had to call bullshit on that because not only are they too old to be playing teenagers, but they actually look too old to be playing teenagers too! The villain was as silly as a villain in this kind of movie would get. When the action happens, sometimes it gets so extreme that I think this movie has one massive body count! Because when all the monster truck destruction and mayhem happens, property is getting damaged, cars are getting crushed, and I think people are present during those scenes, so yeah, I think lots of people die in this movie! Overall, Monster Trucks is an entertaining popcorn flick that people will enjoy, mainly kids! I liked this movie, I will be buying this movie when it's released on Blu-ray for sure!

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter - review

Image result for resident evil the final chapter poster
Holy shit, we are finally at the fucking end! I just watched this at the Melville theater last night and holy shit I have stuff to talk about! This movie is garbage! While not the worst Resident Evil movie (that still goes to the first film!) it is still really bad just like every movie before this! This movie has really bad acting, unconvincing CGI, and really, REALLY AWFUL ACTION SEQUENCES! What makes the action even worse is that almost this movie's entire run time is action sequence after action sequence! And if you choose to see this piece of shit, DO NOT SEE THIS IN 3D!!!! Why? Because all the shaky cam and constant quick cut action in this movie will make you feel sick! The first 15 minutes of the movie is the biggest Mad Max: Fury Road rip-off I have ever seen! There are SO MANY jump scares! I almost walked out of this fucker! I have never came close to walking out of a theater since I saw Fantastic Four (2015)! At least Resident Evil 2-5 were entertaining in a so bad it's good kind of way! This is almost as unwatchable as the original film! The only thing that saves this movie from being the worst in the franchise is that this movie is far more fast paced and entertaining than the original! This movie at the end also makes the biggest fuck you to the fans of the video games I have ever seen! I won't spoil it but if you see this movie, you will find out! This is by far the worst film of 2017 so far!

A Cure for Wellness - review

Image result for a cure for wellness poster
So A Cure for Wellness is a film directed by Gore Verbinski (who also directed the first 3 Pirates of the Caribbean films, and also directed other movies like The Lone Ranger, Rango and The Ring) and this film is about a young business executive who goes to a wellness center to retrieve his company's CEO, but soon realizes that what happens at that wellness center may not be as good as he thought. Now critics are always complaining about not getting original movies put to theaters, but somehow whenever Hollywood actually puts out an original movie, they trash it. This is one of those occasions, it currently has a 38% on Rotten Tomatoes. Do I agree with the critics? No, I don't! I wish I saw this in theaters, but because I couldn't, I watched it on one of those things where you can watch any movie you want on it, I forgot what the fuck those are called, but yeah, and i got surprisingly good quality on it too. But anyways, yeah, I thought this was a very well done, and pretty great movie! It's weird, it's interesting all the way through, and it is masterfully edited and shot! This is a movie that requires you to think, and pay complete attention! This is also a very long movie too, it's about 2 and a half hours long. Well, Logan was that long too but that was a much faster movie than this. The run time can be a problem for a lot of people too because you do feel the run time of this movie, it's not a fast paced movie! Also, if you are easily disturbed, do not watch this movie, there is rape, tons of really bizarre violence with blood, and other demented shit like that! A Cure for Wellness is a tough movie to talk about, this movie really makes you think a lot, which is one of my favourite things about this movie! I do however recommend seeing this movie if you want to see an original movie that is weird, demented and overall really good!

Logan - review

Image result for logan poster
So Logan is the new R-rated Marvel movie and is supposedly the last time Hugh Jackman will be playing Wolverine. This movie tells the story of Wolverine in a post-apocalyptic world, and he is old, beaten and done with life completely! And he ends up being obligated to protect this little mutant girl who doesn't really need protection. And even Professor Xavier tags along on the journey! So how is this movie? Honestly, this is now my favourite Marvel movie to date! That's right, I liked this even more than Deadpool, and that is saying a lot! This movie is packed with some of the best action I have ever seen in a Marvel movie! By the way, remember how bloody the violence in Deadpool was? Well this movie tops it by a long shot! Logan makes Deadpool look PG-13 by comparison! There is TONS of blood and gore, tons of dismemberment, all that good stuff! And I LOVED it! This is also a very emotional movie too, it's not one of those constantly humorous Marvel movies, this is a very dark, emotional movie! Everyone gives great performances in this film too. This is my favourite portrayal of Wolverine from Hugh Jackman, it is fucking incredible! Patrick Stewart is once again amazing as Professor Xavier, and the girl who plays the little girl, her name in the movie is X-23, holy fuck she was a badass! When she fights alongside with Wolverine, it is some of the best bloody mayhem you could ever ask for! This is not your typical superhero movie either, there is no big CGI bad guys in this, there is no colorful costumes, nothing like that! This is more like a straight up action movie than anything, and also happens to be VERY rated R! So in the end, is Logan my favourite movie of 2017 so far, oh, absolutely! And that is saying something because The Lego Batman Movie and John Wick 2 were both incredible too! I will be reviewing those too sometime in the future!

Suicide Squad review

Image result for suicide squad movie poster
Suicide Squad, one of everyone's most anticipated superhero movies of 2016 only because the Joker was in the trailer!  The film stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Ben Affleck, and many more!  I can't really explain what the plot is because this movie doesn't really have one.  Which is one of the movie's many negatives.  But I will start with the positives, because there is a few.  First of all, I found the squad to be quite likable, especially Deadshot, Harley Quinn and Captain Boomerang.  Some of the action sequences were pretty well done, and there is a part during the final act that I thought was the coolest moment in the entire movie!  It involves Diablo and trust me, it is fucking awesome!  There is also a pretty great moment involving Batman and Harley Quinn, I personally found it pretty hilarious!  And the black woman in this movie, I forgot her name, but wow, if she was the real villain in this movie, she would have been the best villain in the DC Extended Universe so far!  Now for the negatives, because I have quite a few!  First of all, the person who leads the squad is really bland!  The editing in the movie sometimes is quite bad, it felt really choppy!  The main villain in this movie sucks ass!  She wasn't Lex Luthor bad, but she was by far the blandest villain these movies have had so far!  And although Diablo was quite awesome during the movie's final act, he does almost nothing throughout the rest of the movie leading to that scene, and I know that the movie provided a reason why, but I still wish he would have done more!  And besides the first 20 minutes of this movie, having the Joker in this movie was pretty pointless, because he serves absolutely no purpose in this movie after Harley Quinn's backstory is over with!   Now I have to answer this question that everyone has been asking, why are critics and audiences hating on these DC Extended Universe movies?  Well, it's because DC is trying to be Marvel!  Because people are loving the MCU movies (including me), DC is trying to do the same thing and they are failing so far.  Overall, Suicide Squad is okay, it's not good but it's not bad either.
